Carbon Monoxide Protection Performance Test machine
Description
I. Application Scope of Carbon Monoxide Protection Performance Test Device
This testing equipment is designed to evaluate the protective performance of filter-type self-rescuers. Inside the sealed test chamber, it can simulate an atmosphere with excessive carbon monoxide mixed gas, and perform a full set of protective performance tests on filter self-rescuers under such simulated conditions. The test parameters include cumulative amount of carbon monoxide permeating through the filter assembly, breathing resistance, inhalation resistance and other relevant indicators.
II. Equipment Composition
- Hardware assembly: Air flow meter, humidifier, sealed test chamber, testing instruments, artificial lung and connecting pipelines.
- Control system: Consists of sensors, test software and industrial computer.
Test Procedure
Air at a flow rate of 100 L/min is mixed with 0.25% carbon monoxide gas and fed into the humidifier. The humidified gas is then delivered into the sealed chamber for thorough mixing to form test air with set temperature, humidity and CO concentration. The test sample installed inside the sealed chamber is tested strictly in accordance with the test conditions specified in relevant standards. When the artificial lung is activated during testing, parameters including inhalation temperature, inhalation pressure and carbon monoxide concentration downstream of the filter can be measured. During exhalation, the cumulative amount of permeated carbon monoxide and exhalation pressure are monitored, and the cumulative CO data can be printed out via the built-in printer. Exhaled gas passes through the humidifier and re-enters the sealed chamber to complete one breathing cycle. Meanwhile, the mixed waste gas inside the sealed chamber is discharged outdoors through the exhaust pipeline.
