Description

I:Introduction to the Test Apparatus

The Automatic Agent Filling Machine (hereinafter referred to as “the Equipment”) is designed for applications involving fire-extinguishing agents—specifically Heptafluoropropane, Hexafluoropropane, and similar substances used in the fire protection industry—including filling, transferring agents from large cylinders to small cylinders, and agent recovery and replacement.

The Equipment consists of several key components: an agent circuit, a nitrogen circuit, a vacuum circuit, a weighing system, and an electrical control system.

III: Installation

Secure the equipment firmly according to the actual on-site installation position provided by the user.

Place the electronic scale inside the ground pit to facilitate the loading, unloading and transferring of gas cylinders.

Connect the outlet of the bulk agent storage tank (customer-supplied) to the agent inlet on the left side of the filling machine with high-pressure hoses.

Connect the outlet on the right side of the filling machine to the inlet of the steel cylinder (customer-supplied) with high-pressure hoses; install a shut-off valve between the steel cylinder and the pipeline.

Connect the 220 V power supply, and confirm that the power indicator light is on and working normally.

Connect the driving compressed air supply, with the air supply pressure maintained at 0.5–0.8 MPa.

Operating Procedures for the Pharmaceutical Filling Machine

Note: During operation, take care to avoid damaging the vacuum gauge!!!

  1. First, ensure that all valves are in the closed position.
  2. Switch on the power supply; the power indicator light should illuminate.
  3. Adjust the drive air pressure on the air preparation unit to approximately 0.6 MPa.
  4. Place the cylinder to be filled onto the platform scale, then perform the tare operation and set the target filling weight.
  5. Open the vacuum switch valve, click the “Start Vacuum Pump” button, and evacuate the cylinder.
  6. Once the required vacuum pressure is reached, close the vacuum switch valve and click the “Stop Vacuum Pump” button.
  7. Open the outlet switch of the large reagent tank, open the reagent control valve, open the valve connecting the cylinder to be filled with the pipeline, and click the “Start Filling” button to initiate the reagent filling process.

Note: Initially, the weight may rise slowly due to air purging in the tubing.

  1. Once the weighing device reaches the preset weight, the filling process automatically stops; throughout this process, continuously monitor the pressure reading displayed on the agent pressure gauge.
  2. Close the agent shut-off valve.
  3. Open the nitrogen shut-off valve (fully open).
  4. Next, open the nitrogen inlet valve (half-open), adjust the pressure reducing valve, and observe the pressure reading displayed on the precision nitrogen pressure gauge.
  5. Adjust the pressure to the required value, then close the nitrogen shut-off valve.
  6. Close the valve situated between the cylinder being filled and the piping, then open the pressure relief valve to discharge the high pressure remaining in the pipeline.

Remove the cylinder. Note: Ensure that the pressure is fully relieved before removing the cylinder to prevent personal injury.

  1. Remove the cylinder from the weighing device; replace it with another set of cylinders awaiting filling.
  2. Complete the operations for evacuating the cylinders, filling them with the agent, and charging them with nitrogen.
  3. Once all filling operations are complete, open the pressure relief switch to release the pressure within the pipelines.

  1. Usage and Maintenance Requirements

Requirements for the Usage and Maintenance of Filling Pumps:

  1. Add lubricating oil to the dual-unit oil cup located inside the housing.

  1. When not in use for an extended period, please drain the chemical agents from the piping to prevent damage to the pump body and lines.
