Description

1. Application Scope

The fire hydrant test machine developed by Jinan Bonor Machinery Co., Ltd. is specially designed for hydrostatic pressure testing of fire hydrants. It is widely used in manufacturing factories, quality inspection institutes, scientific research institutions and universities for production inspection and R&D of various fire valve products.

The machine complies with the following standards:

  • GB3445-2005 Indoor Fire Hydrant
  • GB4452 General Technical Requirements for Outdoor Fire Hydrants
  • 2-2006 Fire Couplings
  • GB8181-2005 Fire Water Performance

Controlled by computer, the unit automatically runs tests and records data to ensure high test accuracy. System pressure, flow rate and other parameters can be adjusted automatically.

2. Control System

The control system adopts a two-level architecture consisting of upper computer and lower computer:

  • Upper computer: Handles graphic display, data calculation and data management with independent control modules for modularized operation;
  • Lower computer: Executes commands from the upper computer to regulate the hydraulic system to target pressure. It features high pressure control accuracy, excellent pressure holding performance and automatic real-time pressure compensation.

Functions including automatic data saving upon power failure and test resumption after power restoration ensure uninterrupted testing.

3. Equipment Features

  1. Equipped with imported pneumatic gas booster pump for adjustable and controllable output pressure;
  2. Advanced technology and compact structural design, small footprint, light weight and nice appearance;
  3. All pressure-bearing components adopt world-famous brand standard parts without welded joints, which enables easy disassembly, high safety factor, long service life and convenient maintenance;
  4. Built-in water circulation system allows fast sample loading/unloading. Multi-sample simultaneous testing improves the automation efficiency of hydrant port pressure tests.
