What is  Breather valve test bench ?

It is a professional device for testing and calibrating the performance of safety valves. It can simulate the actual working environment of safety valves and conduct precise tests on key performance indicators such as the opening pressure, re-seating pressure, sealing performance and opening height of safety valves, ensuring that safety valves act reliably in overpressure scenarios. It is a core testing equipment to safeguard the safety of industrial production.

II. Core Technical Parameters

Taking mainstream models as an example, the common parameters are as follows:

  • Calibration pressure range: 0~70MPa (the maximum of some models can reach 100MPa)
  • Applicable valve caliber: DN10~DN600 (covering the vast majority of industrial safety valves)
  • Clamping force: 0~50T (automatically adjustable according to valve size and pressure)
  • Test medium: Nitrogen, air, water (customizable for special media)
  • Pressure accuracy: ±0.4% (some high-precision models can reach ±0.1%)

III. Working Principle

  1. Clamping and Fixation: The safety valve is firmly fixed on the test station through a hydraulic clamping mechanism to ensure reliable sealing.
  2. Pressure Simulation: A gas booster pump or hydraulic system is used to pressurize the inner cavity of the safety valve, simulating the pressure rise process in actual working conditions.
  3. Data Acquisition: High-precision pressure sensors and displacement sensors are used to collect real-time data on the pressure changes and valve core displacement of the safety valve.
  4. Performance Judgment: When the pressure reaches the opening pressure of the safety valve, key parameters such as pop pressure and re-seating pressure are recorded, and the sealing performance of the valve is verified through a sealing test.
